Allan Boomer has been in the financial industry for over 20 years and has spent the bulk of his career advising institutional clients, and wealthy families. Before founding Momentum, Allan spent 7 years at Goldman Sachs, where he was a Vice President in the firm's Investment Management Division. While at Goldman, he managed a $450 million investment portfolio on a team that oversaw $7 billion in client assets. Allan began his career at Merrill Lynch in 1995.

Allan serves as the Chairman of the Board of the Raritan Valley Community College Foundation and sits on the Board and Investment Committee of the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library Foundation. He is also Past Chairman of the NYU Stern Alumni Council, and Chairman of the Good Shepherd Real Estate Corporation, a faith-based non-profit organization. He previously served on the Board of Overseers at the NYU Stern School of Business.

Allan holds an MBA in Finance, Accounting and Entrepeneurship from the NYU Stern School of Business, where he was both a Robert F. Toigo Fellow and a Consortium for Graduate Study in Management Fellow. He also holds an undergraduate degree in business from Morgan State University.
